Thanks for the additional pics Charlie - looks great and you done good. Agree with others on the 27 barrel. Don't forget to check the grip frame size (K or N).

I checked the grip frame. Round butt K frame grips won't fit. Round butt N frame grips will fit. I still haven't shot it. Maybe tomorrow.

That looks like a real bulldog. Back when I was questioning why someone would cut the barrel only a half inch, the thought did cross my mind that it may be 3-1/2 barrel off an M27.
