Just watched Punisher: War Zone. The film is by no means great, but if you like guns in movies, you'll see plenty of them.

Toward the end of the film, Frank Castle uses a modified SW500 with a suppressor (I chuckled). Anyway, just wanted to share a pic of it with those of you who haven't seen the movie.

...what you can't see is, on the right side of the frame...where the coffee maker & ice machine are...right above the bayonet lug and laser rangefinder...:D

But seriously: It is a neat movie gun. You have to love those flick cannons. My favorite film handgun still remains to be the Deckard Blaster in Blade Runner. The COP 357 in replicant Leon's hands was cool too...

Thanks for sharing.

That's pretty cool. I rolled my eyes at the suppressor though. I also noticed you have to remove the rail to get the cylinder to rotate out too. The rail covers the ejector rod.

And yeah I'm also wondering how many real rounds till the gadgets fling off under recoil. :)

Wild looking ideed. Guess Hollywood assumes the public is firearms ignorant and isn't clued into the concept that a suppressor does little good with a beast like a 500 Mag with the B/C gap there to screech. Don

Good point DonD...yes I agree, Hollywood banks on the general viewing public being a bit s-l-o-w when it comes to firearm sense & fact. I too say "hhmmmmm" to movies with suppressed revolvers & shotguns.

Not to mention the "endless magazine" of most movie guns. I think when it comes to a movie with realistic reloads, you can't beat the street battle in "Heat." Just my humble...

Yeah, I never saw Heat in its entirety, just the portion where they had the big M16 firefight in the middle of the city. Outstanding for Hollywood. Don

the dekkard revolver was cool, but i don't think it holds a candle to the lawgiver from judge dredd. crappy movie, but man, what a gun!!! :)
