How much is "an arm and a leg? CZ imports those now, don't they? You should have gotten it for less than their normal retail price.

Excellent buy no matter what you paid! my CZ is a great shooting rifle. shoots straight and handles nice and well built.

Beautiful rifle. I hope you enjoy it for many years. I would like a CZ 22LR.
I have its baby brother... cz 452 fs in 17hmr more accurate than I am...and I want a 550 fs in 308... but I just don't find them around here...
CZU, that is a very nice setup. Like the looks of your scope setup.
Texas* what I paid for the CZ has nothing to do with what the rifle
will cost me. You have to remember my wife was there and she dug
$350 out of her stash. We gave $575 plus tax.

CZ FSs are great...... I've got 452 FSs in .22lr and.22 magnum and a 527FS in .223.........................best bang for the buck IMO.
I'd have a 550 but I've had a Ruger International/mannlicher in .243 for 30 years(?)....... to meet my Pa. deer needs.
'arm and a leg"?......New they are less than $800 around here. I paid $720 for my 527 three years ago. I got two "used" 527s for $350 from the owner and another from a LGS for $450 both LNIB.
Just read your (OPs) post above......$575..... not bad......not an "arm and a leg IMHO" I would have done it!!!!!
Hdhic..... depending what your going to be hunting....... look at some of the smaller scopes..... like Leupold's 1-4(or5) X20 they look and preform great on the FS/mannlichers. My 527 is for varmints/coyotes out to 150 yds here in Pa. and it's good to go at 4 x in most fields here or in Penn's Woods on 1X

It is a older Nikon 2-7x32 Shotgun scope on, IIRC, Brno mounts. 50 yard parallax, quick target acquisition.
