D.O.B for 36 no dash

I just inherited a model 36 no dash. It is almost flawless except for some surface rust, and topstrap pitting due to being stored in its S&W pancake holster for the last 25 years without being oiled, the rest of the gun is a deep rich, blue.

Two questions.

Does S&W still offer factory refinishing?

Can anyone offer an approximate build date for ACJ6638?
