While I'm not thrilled to, now, own all of Dad's guns, I am trying to enjoy them a little at a time. A recent thread reminded me of the target stocks I kept after he replaced them with rubber that better stuck to his arthritic hands. His model 15 sports a target hammer as well as a trigger shoe. I'm not a fan of trigger shoes, they remind me of 20 inch rims on a '55 Chevy, so it may be removed if the remaining screw marks aren't too unsightly. This 4 screw's serial number is K4079xx. My semi-educated guess puts it about 1960. I think the stocks cleaned up nicely.

Wow! That’s a beauty. You could remove the trigger shoe with an Allen wrench. Any tiny mark could be covered with cold blue. The non-relieved target stocks are exceptional. What dash is the 15? Could be a great shooter.

Thank you, both. It is model 15 no dash. I actually just used Scott's Liquid Gold furniture polish because it was close to me and I had really good results with it on the stocks of my snow and rain soaked O/U shotgun this last winter.
