Well, there's a rumor floating around the internet, and I've also heard about it on radio call-in shows. Danica Patrick may leave IRL to go to NASCAR. Yes, she's talked about it before, but this time, her marketing agency has been spotted in the NASCAR garages talking with different teams. One rumor has her goin' to Roush. But others have said that she is leaning towards Hendrick and Chevrolet. And get this...she could replace NASCAR's most popular driver on Hendrick's four car Cup team. Surely they wouldn't fire Dale Jr? No, they wouldn't; the rumor is that they are already talking about bringing up Brad Keslowski to run a full Cup schedule in a JR Motorsports car, so why not have a two car team - Keslowski and Junior. Jr Motorsports has and would continue to use Hendrick motors and engineers. Hendrick reps have denied it, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's not true.(Think about how many college football coaches say they aren't goin' anywhere, then get on a plane the next week.) I don't buy it, but other NASCAR fans out there, what do ya'll think?

Does she understand professional wrestling?

"The thing that scares me the most about wrestling fans is, they can breed!"
by Bobby Heenan.

That's why I was asking how good her legs were 385!
NASCAR has till 2017' before they'll need to get 37MPG on a dyno in order to be able to qualify? If not, they'll only be allowed in the hybrid classes?

Her legs are good. She was in the Sports Ill. Swimsuit Issue this year, I think. You can probably find pics in a Search.

Rick Hendrick is one of the smartest people in motorsports. He is not going to replace Dale Jr. despite his lack luster performance. Remember that nascar is sports entertainment and it is all about sponsor dollars, even more so than winning. Jr brings the fans, and he brings the sponsors.

Now if Danica could attract a solid big time sponsor by going with Hendrick, I'm sure Rick would consider it.

Personally, I think nascar needs more drama in these tough economic times. So I say Danica goes to Rousch, and Danica and Matt Kenseth have a torrid affair ending in bitter divorces for both of them... :)

I agree with that. I would say if Danika comes to Nascar she is going to get a spot on one of the major teams. (I personally would like to see her come to Gibbs racing.) Hendrick would never replace Jr. especially with an open wheel driver. I'm not saying that Jr. could leave Hedrick and then Danika join Hendrick that could very well happen. It would be hard for Hendrick to alienate himself from Nascar, but if it COULD happen it would be to turn the "Junior Nation" against him.

I like how the fact Danika went after the person who wrecked her out of the 2008 Indy 500. Thats the kind of stuff we need in Nascar.

Patrick really isn't that good of a driver. But, she does have the looks and will bring in the big bucks. Its worth giving her a shot just for that.
There's a world of difference between NASCAR and Indy. I'm guessing she won't cut it. Probably be gone before mid-season.
Meanwhile, if she does go to NASCAR, my money is on the Cat in the Hat. Ol' Jack ain't stupid. He knows how to market his drivers.

I heard on the internet that the Earth is going to crash into the sun in 55 minutes, and that Obama is going to confiscate all our guns before it happens, and that margarine is a government conspiracy. I got it in an email - it must be right. I don't need to check any of it out, I have you guys!

Does anyone know if it's true?
