First California was complaining about drought. Now that the rains/snow have returned they are *****ing because of too much water. Crop lands that appeared when lakes dried up are now being retaken as dried lake beds have refilled.
I have an idea....accept the fact that no matter what we do, mother nature will win out. The arrogance of thought that we really control mother nature by our inconsequential actions is truly laughable.
I'm not saying to litter, pour waste oil down the storm drain or things like that but lets show some common sense here people!
think I will set up the smoker this weekend for a 12 hour smoke and pollute the ozone with some pecan and pork butt fumes.

There will always be homes built below flood level for those that don't do their home work.
Many are lax or don't have the money or time to inspect or repair their water levies.

Breaches, letting water flood areas in Nevada and Calif. are a normal thing, when we have a "Good" water year.

The good thing, is the water table is getting water that it needs, finally.

Nevada has been waiting four years for a 200% snow pack, to help our water sources.

Stinky air thanks to the forest fires canada. But the gas stove ban will fix it!

On the news last night, they were doing a story about NYC's new regulations on coal and wood fired pizza ovens/businesses. The mayor actually got up and talked about all the smoke from the CANADIAN forest fires and how the city's new regulations would take care of it. ?????????? What a marroon!

He is a good example of the contempt our leaders have for us.

He knows full well that will have no effect on air quality, but he so committed to his agenda that any lie is justified, regardless of the consequences and damage done. After all, we are too stupid to know whats good for us.

The whole climate thing is just so much BS. It is about something altogether different. Just look at the outrageous proposals and realize it for what is truly going on.

"WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Whelp, as a, over decades, former denier, evolving to skeptic, then agnostic, and now one who accepts anthropogenic climate change as real, lemme just say:

Ho hum. No point in tuckering us all out rehashing that one.

Carry on.:)

Which is completely irrelevant to the assertion that pizza oven filters will fix the problem caused by the forest fires
