Going to Glendale this year. Looking forward to meeting you folks in person.
Will have two display tables. My 1st time to display.
My table title will be "Dad's Guns."
All of my guns were once owned by my dad, David Reynolds.
Dave was a Marine Aviator during WWII and went to college on the GI Bill.
Engineering degree from the University of Houston. 1st job with Ford Motor Co. in Detroit.
He was a gun store owner, a gun writer, a promoter and a S&W Collector.
Put on gun shows in Texas and Oklahoma in the 50's and 60's.
Brought Elmer Keith, Jeff Cooper and others to Dallas.
Shot .44 Magnums with Elmer at 300 yds at the old Winchester Gun Range in Dallas. Normally you could not fire handguns on the 300 yd rifle range, but hey, he was Elmer Keith.
In 1960 we lived in Norman, Oklahoma and dad worked at Tinker AFB in Oklahoma City.
He formed a company named DARE Enterprises. Its only product was Graphwhite which he sold at gun shows. DARE is DAvid REynolds shortened.
That is why I use DARE for my forum user name.
See y'all in Glendale.
