Have purchased a couple old Colt revolvers (police *** .32 and Official Police .32-20) recently and had them shipped to a local FFL. The second gun arrived yesterday so I stopped by to the store to pick them up. Colorado background checks are taking 2-3 days right now, so I won't be able to play with/shoot my new toys until the end of the week. And yes I would like some cheese with that whine :)

Colorado decided to create their own background system. When things get busy they get behind (sometimes way behind). Use the Federal insta-check system? Oh that would make way too much sense.

You know that in some states with a concealed carry permit there is no line. Show permit, make the Xs and sign 4473, take your gun and go. At the most 10 minutes while you shoot the breeze with your dealer

Michigan had that, until a couple of months ago. Too many shenanigans, said the ATF...now it’s a call to NICS like everyone else.
