Date of Manufacture of Model 52-2

I just acquired a really nice 52-2 from VonFatman.

The serial number is TZP74xx. Would someone be so kind as to tell me the year of manufacture?

Nice LATE 52-2.

It is most likely from 1993.

Thought it was pretty late; thanks for confirming this for me.

I need a second magazine (at least), the tool kit (including the wrench), and the appropriate box. I've placed a notice in the WTB section of the board, but any other help will be much appreciated.

S&W still sells the mag for the 52

You may also find the 52 mags on Midway Arms. I have purchased from them for my two 52s and they always had the metal follower type. There are plastic follower versions out there that are reportedly not as good. Dave_n
