He was a great actor, played many roles. Clockwork Orange, Cross of Iron were outstanding. He was Bob Cratchit with George C. Scott in a version of A Christmas Carol, also well done. He was 80. RIP.

He was not in A Clockwork Orange, still he had some good roles over the years.

Not another one! A 2nd thread today noted the death of Paul Sorvino at age 83. With so many deaths of performers in recent weeks/months, starting to wonder if people in general have been weakened by the virus. Or perhaps it's simply the prevalence of round-the-clock media coverage of everything and everyone.

He played the Alzheimers afflicted father of a Swedish detective in the show "Wallander". His performance was gut wrenching.

He was also great at playing villains, Dillinger/Sark in "Tron", Evil in "The Time Bandits", and the Cardassian torturer Gul Madred in "Star Trek: The Next Generation".

RIP, Sir.

Man, my movie memory is getting bad. But it was 102 today, and that is very hot for the PNW.
