Deadliest Warrior TV Show On Spike TV

I like the show and it will probably be interesting for a season and then get boring. The criteria for evaluating and selecting a winner is really "cheezy" and pointless, and pretty soon it will be who will win in a battle of Mickey Mouse vs. Bugs Bunny. But the slow motion photography is good and I have seen and learned a few things, like how powerful the
U.S. hang grenade is versus the Russian grenade. They have some rather interesting tests that they perform when comparing weapons and they put quite a bit of time and effort into the battle scenarios.

This show is overall pretty stupid, but somehow entertaining. Some of the weapons demonstrations are kind of cool. I laughed when they were showing the specs of the P-38 with a picture of a Luger on the screen.

I see you caught that one too.

Yes they do make some mistakes. I also don't always agree with the winner. But I do find it interesting to see the weapons and techniques of other cultures. The show is worth it for that alone.

my cousin and i love watching this show. however, he thinks it is all stupid because "marine corp sniper" beats everybody..... kinda like a cheater character.

I think its really a stupid show, but funny in some ways. Like when they put the Apache vs. the Gladiator. Its so ridiculous you just have to laugh. I'm going to write the makers and suggest they make a battle between a German U-boat Commander Vs. an Eskimo.

I saw that too, onegunshort. Did they really need to do any testing to determine what the better short-range weapon was when it came to the sawed-off 12 GA shotgun vs. the P38? It is obviously to anyone who knows anything about guns that a sawed-off is the deadlier weapon.

I enjoy the show a lot. It's easy to get over the cheesiness of it, because somewhere in the heart of every guy, we've all rehearsed those scenarios before.

I tell you what though, ever since I saw that ballistics dummy that they use, I've been dying to shoot it with my 500...just to see what happens

I'll go with Wallace because of the fact that he will have some type of armour vs Shaka. I would not want to catch a zulu spear however! I think it woul leave a mark!

I really enjoy the show. The Green Berets got robbed in the show with them vs. the Spetznas (not sure on spelling). Since when did a ballistic knife (one shot) ever come in more handy than a utility shovel??
