Greetings. So I took my new Christmas toy (15-22) to the range for the first time. And after only two magazines the trigger would not reset after the empty shell was ejected. Turns out the hammer pin "walked" out of place. The pin looked short but the hole may have been warped. Had to return it to S&W.

Gotta say this is very disappointing.

It seems to be reported more lately. Your #5 I've read about. I'm sure they will take care of you. Some of us fixed the problem with the KNS 15-22 pins. The pins are longer and fit the width of the polymer lower better.

Let us know how long it takes them to get it back to you.

Well, I finally received my rifle from S&W after three weeks. Would you consider this a long or average time? Shot about 150 rounds without a hitch. Hopefully I won't have any more issues.

Typical turn-around time for any firearms company. Now if your's was the only one they had to work on ... :D
