Detroit Police Call Box

I restore and collect Detroit Police Callboxes that would almost be restored condition. The only part missing is the interior phone box. That is a rare Detroit made box. The used a standard cast iron call box as a pattern to make that box.

Well, it seems that everyone puts a bottle or two in them. When my Uncle Bill retired from his fire department, Aunt Elise purchased a fire alarm pull box from the township's supplier, numbered it as one higher than the highest box in town and made it into a micro-bar, complete with glasses and a couple of full bottles.

11 USC 542 requires the following.....

"(a) Except as provided in subsection (c) or (d) of this section, an entity, other than a custodian, in possession, custody, or control, during the case, of property that the trustee may use, sell, or lease under section 363 of this title, or that the debtor may exempt under section 522 of this title, shall deliver to the trustee, and account for, such property or the value of such property, unless such property is of inconsequential value or benefit to the estate."

Given the trials and tribulations of the City of Detroit, I think you should return the "property of the city" and help us save some of the cities art collection...... Aside from that I like the idea of using it to store the bottle (or two) of your choice.

Debtor or creditor lawyer :D
Also it seems that there is a continual possession of stolen property-The theft prescribed a lonnnnnng time ago so he can't be prosecuted for that.;)
Damn lawyers always raining on the parade :D

Take it to Vegas next time you go. See what Rick and "the old man" offer. Say hello to Chumley for me......I'll be watching the TV to see how you make out.
