I hope this is in the correct thread. While at my brother in laws 4th of July party today he said "look at this and see if you want to buy it". He said he is selling some guns to buy a Glock or Sig (I know ?) he hands it to me, I barely looked at it before I said how much? $200.00, I gave him two hundred dollar bills and stuck it in my cargo shorts pocket (no it was not loaded I checked) before he changed his mind. Any info will be interesting.
It is what I always called chrome plated. Model 10-7 with a 2" barrel, three screws, strain screw, .38 S&W spl. fixed sight.

It is pretty dirty, but I have not found any rust or flaking chrome. There are some odd places on the cylinder that look like scotch tape but may clean off. It does not appear to have been fired very much.
