I've been reading some of the Mod 60 threads here and I guess a spark was ignited.
Prefaced to say I already have a 2" Ashland adj sighted, a 2" 60-15, and a 2" Ladysmith.
I saw a LGS had a 3" adj sight 60 listed.
I was hoping for a .38 Spl. but it is a .357 60-15.
Locks up frogs arse tight.
No warts dings or scars.
It came with the box and docs.
I paid $525+fees and the governor's cut.
Have picked it up yet but lay away.
Now to find some sweet wood to replace the factory rubber.

The price seems fair to me, if the gun is decent mechanically and cosmetically. You'll probably end up shooting .38 Specials anyway, so I wouldn't consider the .357 chambers a big drawback. If you're a handloader you can load reduced loads in .357 cases and if you only shoot factory, just remember to brush out the chambers as soon as you're done shooting.

In my experience, the people who have trouble with .38s in their .357s are the same ones who can't be bothered to brush out the chambers before they leave the range. It only takes a minute or two. Anyway, I bet you'll like your new revolver. I'm certainly fond of my 60-4, basically the same thing. :)
