Did I find a pre model 27 .357?

I'm sure that every heir has a perfectly good reason for selling guns left to him. I am not meaning to be insulting. My point is that you often hear guys talking about "heirloom guns" they put away for kids or grandkids but there is no guarantee they will want them. I say leave them cash and if they want a gun let them buy their own.

Saxon - I am in agreement with you.

Personally, my "Heirloom" things will be left to who I want them to go to, and then they can do what they like with them.

My dad left me some real good antiques, I kept what I really liked, auctioned off the rest, and I was able to use it for part of the money to put a payment on my house.

At the end of the day, even though we are big fans of them, these are just things, nothing more, nothing less.
