Did S&W Fix the Cylinder Burn Issue

Maybe I missed it, but has S&W fixed/changed the short screw on the rear sight that seemed to be causing burns on the cylinder on some models like the 27 Classic? Or do you still need to call them and have them send the proper length screw if you have an issue?
