I know the FBI utilized the 1006 and 1076, but did they also use the 1066?
Did the FBI Utilize S&W 1066?

The FBI did not issue the 1006 or 1066. However, it did issue at least one 1086 to a female New Agent Trainee in 1991.

As you can probably guess, my next project is to buy either a 1066, 1076 or a 1006.
I like the 1066 because of the 4.25 inch barrel, ambidextrous decocker, and overall look. Any feedback
is greatly appreciated!

Now THAT I did not know! I was aware of at least one S&W 3913 being issued a famale NAT in the mid-1990's, when the P228 was the standard issue.

The FBI only bought the Model 1076. I have seen individual agents back in the day with personally owned 1086, so some different 10mm S&Ws may have been bought by individuals, but the literature indicates that FBI bought only the 1076 and not the 1066. That is not surprising as the administrative handling of the two are different which would necessitate different training.
