Did the Model 67 ever come with a 6" barrel?

On the bullseye list we have been talking about the model 67. One fellow says he has 2 model 67's with 6" barrels. My Supica and Nahas 2nd edition makes no mention of anything except 4' for the Model 67. I'm a bit confused.

The Model 68 is a K frame, adjustable sight, stainless steel .38 Special; perhaps he is thinking of that pistol. It looks more like a Model 66 than a M-67, however, with an ejector rod shroud on the barrel.

I have never seen a 6 inch M-67, seen a photo of one or heard anyone claim to have one. Pretty unlikely.

People say funny stuff on the internet. Have him post a photo of one. Bet he won't.
