Didn't need this thing...bought it anyway. 10-5 snubbie

i purchased my 10-5 snub new in 1975 for $90 i believe...gave it to my son a few years ago...everyone needs a few M10's

I am looking at a 4" for $225...no box and in Good condition. Is this a good deal?

Yes, certainly around here (assuming it has some finish and works correctly). I recently paid $300 for a 10-5 in very good condition, good grips, and thought that was a great price.

C Broad Arrow, don't walk away from that one for $225. Unless it has no finish left, it's worth that.

I took your advice H Richard. And bought it today when the store opened.

That is sweet, I passed on one this week that was marked $409.00. Not quite as sweet as yours. Stocks a bit worn but did have black Tyler T grip on it.

If it looked like yours I would have bought it.

Good luck with it. Super nice one at a fair, or maybe better than fair price.

You just thought you didn't need it. You could never have enough.

Very nice find! 2" 10s don't show up often. I have it's brother, a 2" 10-5 with a round butt. They came both ways. I have the box, but didn't show it in the pic because the box was locked up in a closet and I didn't have the time to dig it out:

Here's my Model 10-5 2" SB that I "didn't need". ;)

I pimped it out a little but with some Altamont rosewood stocks and a Tyler T-grip, but still have the original stocks.

Silly question but what do the " - " dash designations mean, like the - 5?

They all start off as "no dash" and then as small engineering changes are made the "dash's" are added. Sample:

19-2 (1961): Cylinder stop changed, delete triggerguard screw.
(1963): Introduce 6" barrel.
(1963): 50 manufactured with 2.5" barrel, serial range K544672–K544721.
(1966): Introduce 2.5" barrel as standard.

19-3 (1967): Relocation of rear sight leaf screw.
(1968): Delete diamond-insert grip.

She's a beaut Clark!

Nice one! I have a RB '68 2"
