Different upper for 15-22?

Never thought about it until I sent my upper off for threading. Would there be any other upper that could be used on the 15-22, for say a different caliber, without major modifications?

Short answer, no.

You might be able to have someone cut a 17HMR-2 barrel for you, but I wouldn't even begin to guess how to respring the bolt for the different velocity / pressure.
