tennexplorer has been helping me along as I attempt to create a couple of "shooters" from the two frames (a 1917 and a Brazilian) that I own. He has put together a couple of "FrankenSmiths" that do shoot pretty good.
 
Great link / discussion. Sounds like there are at least a few real gunsmiths still out there.

Jack, I wish. I am not nearly so talented or experienced. And since these are my own guns, I don't have a schedule to meet. If something doesn't work I can put it away and think about it.

Gil, thanks much for the compliment. BTW, this latest second model is kicking my butt.
