IMO to a T-Rex a 50 BMG would be sort of like a 22 Short to a Grizzly, annoying enough to get him really really angry. My choice would be a Tank Killer of some description, anything from a Laws Rocket to an A10 would be suitable. BTW, I really prefer the Warthog because you cant reload a Laws Rocket and there might be two of them.
