I decided to watch a tv special on the history channel named sharp shooters. They covered many famous pistoleros including Wild Bill Hicock, Annie Oakley, the Topperweiners, and a few others but can you believe that in that 2 hour special there was not a mention of Bill Jordan. After all the hype I've heard of him, Ive searched the internet endlessly and haven't found his recorded feats. I expected that they would've at least mentioned him on that tv documentary. Does anyone have any reliable source where I can see Bill Jordan shooting? The "fast and fancy shooters" video on youtube cuts early before they show Bill.

The "History" Channel.
There, I fixed it.
Full of revisionist history, mistakes, and BS.
Just another TV channel.

I've been disappointed in the HC for years. From their revisionist, sloppy, fabricated "movies" (Sons of Liberty, Hatfields and McCoys, Alamo, etc) to their "put it in auto-pilot" snooze-a-thons...the 8-10 hour segments of Pawn Stars, Amer Pickers re-runs, it is a shadow of what it once was.

Bill Jordan

Try Amazon. I have his book but its loaned out. Thin but well worth the time to read. Also might try "Bill Jordan what's my line" on utube.

I have his book, but like you have never seen him in a movie, video, etc.

He was on Whats My Line Doing his signature pingpong ball exercise. Ping pong ball on the back of his hand;drop hand, draw M-19 and ball would fall in holster. Said the hardest part was getting the ball to hit the holster.

The History Channel needs to fire the Program Manager and hire new staff! ;)
Their programming isn't worth squat!

More disappointment

Verizon just stopped carrying the Sportsman Channel. Can't wait for my contract to be up.

The staggering number of commercials turned me off to that channel and I turned Off that channel. Never watch it anymore.
