Disappointed with Remora holster

I let the "expert" at the LGS pick both the 4ART and the #8 for me, that would explain the issue. I should have done my homework! With the fix at the upholstery shop, it's a non issue now. It never was going to be my go to holster anyway. It does have its place for my needs though.

I have a 642 and mine sits nowhere near as deep as yours does. My entire grip and about a half an inch of the frame shows. It looks like you have the wrong size. If you ordered the #8 that is for a barrel up to 2 3/4 inches with the exposed hammer. The #8CH is for barrels up to 2 1/8 with concealed hammer. That is the one I ordered and it works great.

When I was ready to order a holster for my Shied 9, I sent Remora 2 emails and never heard back from them. Long story short, I ended up going with Sticky as a result. Glad I did. Sticky is a fantastic product.
