Discontinuing N Frame Revolvers???

Plastic, springs and a few metal parts will never replace the strength and quality of a fine revolver. If I were going to play with plastic it would be toys, not handguns. Still like shooting at 100 yards, few semi's are up to the task, most all big frame, big bore wheel guns are.

Joesmith357: Items with a cult following don't sell, and don't make economic sense to catalog.

Of course, there's a limited market for 44 Special.....except that every time S&W, etc., chamber them, they sell like hot-cakes. So it's kind of hard to know exactly where that limit is......

Ok s&w stops offering them time to time, but thell be offered again in the
future is that what some are saying here?

Yup...that's what we're saying. There are lots of examples; I'm most acquainted with various 44 Special, but there are many other examples.

I suspect the marketing department waits until prices on a certain model is 10-20% higher than what an actual street price would be on a new model....then they produce a specified/limited number.

At least that's what they'd do if I was in charge!
