Hi everyone. Wife and myself are both laid up with hip problems. I need to replace our built in dishwasher. Anyone have suggestions on a good brand? Thank you.

Bosch,, SO quiet,,
My younger daughter bought a house,,
ONE load of dishes,, she made her hubby get her a BOSCH

My older daughter bought a new home two years ago,,
after one load of dishes,, she went out and got LOWES to put in a BOSCH,,,

We have a GE Potscrubber dishwasher that we bought when we built our house in 1987. It's still going strong 37 years later. What I like about it besides its reliability, is that it has a self-cleaning filter, which I understand is rare these days.

Bosch is more difficult to fix, Whirlpool is the dominate maker, with several names in its offerings. Maytag Roper Kitchenaide Jennair Amana Estate, others. They have many factories and mix as needed. Frigidaire and Electrolux are the same company. Ge is its own. Whirlpool has the most availability of parts and info. I wont own LG or Samsung. One thing now is if you buy one from any big box store, wich do not have any service, some repair places wont service any thing you didnt buy from them. Service providers are so swampt they dont have time for non customers.

Bosch seems to be the better choice now.
Buy an extended warranty from upsie.
Cheaper than retail vendors.

I had to buy a new top load clothes washer recently. Lots of research revealed that all brands are junk.
Repair guy confirmed and said only speed queen was long lasting and quality.
I paid the price for a speed queen.
I installed Bosch dishwashers in my apartment building.
