When this China Virus dies down I'm going to open a business that deals in toilet paper and ammo. How about I call it "Shoot and SXXX"?
That has been posted on their website for a few weeks. They’re good folks and I’ve used them for years myself.

My wife always gets a laugh when she hears about some bad guy in the news that was arrested with "an arsenal of guns and THOUSANDS of rounds of ammunition". Not that she thinks bad guys are funny, she just knows how much ammo and supplies I bought over the years.
It doesn't take too many 500 round bricks of .22 to add up quickly. I've got an ample supply of all my firearm needs - ammo in the necessary calibers, magazines, some spare parts, cleaning and maintenance tools, even reference books to help me maintain some of my obscure firearms.
We will get through this. Thank goodness so many folks have learned from the past, and gotten their inventory already.

I too saw the email from Sam Gabbert. I ordered a 5k case of 22lr from SGAmmo and got confirmation yesterday that the order is filled. So it is being shipped right now. I've bought from SGAmmo for several years. My local small-chain dealer ran out weeks ago. What they can get back in stock has nearly doubled in price.

Yeah, when you read about in the news a 10/22 with a bulk pack of ammo is "a semi-automatice rifle and HUNDREDs of bullets!!!"

x 3 on reloading. Also don't forget to look at alternatives. Today's 32 Long can be loaded to be pretty hot just remember not all 32 Long guns were created equal. The hot stuff works great in 32 magnum and 327 mag guns. 32 Long reloading components are not hard to find reasonable.

The amount of new gun owners as a result of the virus panic is staggering.
They all need ammo.
Glad I snagged 10K rounds of .22s yesterday. It’s hardly anything and I’m embarrassed that I’ll only have about 11,000 on hand once they arrive.
Pathetic stash but by my calculations of me shooting 300 rounds per month which is about average, that will give me about 3 years of shooting. Hopefully that is enough time for the shortage to recover, or at least cool down a bit. That’s about how long it took the last time.
Might buy another case or two just to be ready.

I am well stocked. Mainly due to the fact that SGAmmo has been my go to supplier for the past several years. They have been selling it cheap, and I have been stacking it deep.
SG is the BEST ammo sellers on the net. Been dealing with them for years.
A different company also did my good recently. This week I received 250 rounds of .25 ACP ammo from an online order. Well, it was the wrong brand. It was PMC when I ordered Fiocchi. I emailed the company and they sent me 5 boxes of a Fiocchi for free. Pretty cool.

Better yet: "Shoot the ****" with the logo being a rifle with a toilet paper roll as a scope and the slogan; "Fire in the hole!"
Oh, and you need to offer a rewards program for those who buy in bulk which ranks up from "Private First ***" all the way to "Rear Admiral".

Buying a metric ton and hoarding it and ESPECIALLY flipping it for a profit are bad. But, there’s not so much wrong with buying a little where you can just to have some about.
The problem is, with literally MILLIONS of new shootists in this country, that’s where they’re all in the same boat: new gun, no ammo.
Can we really blame them for trying to be prepared?

Unless you just discovered shooting last week or have been living in a cave for the last 10 years, if you waited for the emergency to happen before you thought about buying enough ammo to hold you over for a few months, you deserve to get fleeced. SGAmmo has two goals. To sell you ammo and to get as much for it as the market will bear. So they send out a e mail, just like every other business is doing, telling you that ammo is going to be scarce and you better take advantage of their deals while you can. "All things considered, I believe we still have some decent deals in stock, admittedly not as good as they were, but not as bad as I expect them to become." So act now while you still can because we can only offer these deals for a short time and then they will be gone. It's called marketing and it's mostly nonsense. Having seen how ammo has been a commodity, I think I'm going to take a chance that the ammo companies will make more and pass on SGAmmo's most generous offer. Now I'm going to take a couple of hundred rounds of 45's from my supply and spend some time banging away. Don't forget to wash your hands!
