Do M&P Shield mags ever get better?

I've had my Shield .40 for about 1.5 years now. When I first bought it the mags were impossible to load, took an hour.
Decided today it's time to sell it, doubt I'll buy another S&W auto.

Well let us all know when you list it for sale on the Forum. Be Safe,

Bet he couldn't do it without a loader, I sure can't. I honestly think the springs are bad. Even the GLOCK 26 was horrible at first but after about 6 months got to the point that I can load it without a loader.

Yes sir he absolutly can.But it seems that our three Shields and nine mags don't have the problems you describe in your post.

I have the 45 Shield and 12 magazines (6 of each type).
I loaded and unloaded each several times and then left them loaded for a week (locked up of course).
It did help.

I use an UpLula for speed and to spare my fingers.
I always keep the UpLula in my range bag and bring the mags pre-loaded to the range (gun locked up).
Even with 12 magazines, I have to reload at the range and the UpLula is faster - I go there to shoot, not to waste time with magazines!
