Do you enjoy shooting your edc weapon?

I always carried Semi Autos. My EDC was a Zev Z43 Gunfighter. My ex had gotten a 642 Airlite. In the beginning it was a little tough to get used to. She got a oversized grip and it made a world of difference. To many that complain about shooting it get a new grip. It makes all the difference in the world. Me personally I shoot better with guns that Challenge me so about a month ago I got a 340 PD I love shooting it. So far I have over 300 rounds of .38 Special and about 75 rounds of .357. I love to shoot it and feel no pain or discomfort shooting it. It has become my EDC because it is so light and comfortable I sometimes forget I have it. To each their own but I can go to the range tomorrow and put 150 rounds through it and be very accurate and enjoy it.

I carry a Glock 19 Gen 4, & love the thing. I've been a Glock fan since they first came out & have shot my Gen 1 17 a lot over the years. I carry the 17 sometimes, but the Gen 4 shoots a lot better. I get to the range for practice as much as I can, I enjoy shooting both of them.

My EDC is now my Shield 9mm, and I LOVE to shoot it. Although it's not technically a range gun, I can easily put 100+ rounds through it in a single session and I still want to shoot more! It is replacing my GLOCK43 because it does everything the GLOCK did, but fits my hand and points much better and has less perceived recoil.

Recoil is subjective, but this is probably the most pleasant gun in its class that I've ever shot. In fact, I think it's actually easier to shoot than my GLOCK19:eek: I bought it because of the great reviews and the rebate, and I'm very glad I did. In fact, I liked it so much that I just ordered a SECOND one!

I don't believe in a rotation. I carry either a Sig 225 or 228; they have exactly the same operating system. I also carry a Centennial/Model 40 stoked with 135 gr Speer short barrel loads. I wouldn't say I enjoy shooting them, any more than I enjoy driving, or using the mower. When I get some other guns out that I don't normally shoot, then I enjoy myself.

I like shooting mine, and cleaning it, and I use Winchester white box. It is fun, and cheap to practice.

My EDC is a Metaloyed Kimber Raptor or a Metaloyed Springfield Mil-Spec 1911. My BUG is either a Metaloyed Kimber Ultra Raptor or a Colt Officers model, but is usually the Kimber for it's lightweight and it being able to use my PC b/u mags.

As to how often I shoot? I put 250 to 500 rounds a week through it to keep in practice and sharp. In addition at home I do 50 presentation draws daily, AFTER ensuring it's unloaded.

I carry one of four:

Smith and Wesson SD9VE with 10 rd magazine

Smith and Wesson 36-1 3" revolver

Smith and Wesson 637 1 7/8" revolver

or a Ruger LC9S

The Ruger is my least favorite to target practice with, but I like shooting all of them. Eventually I may trade in the Ruger and get a Shield 9mm as they are so much sweeter. But I have 4 mags for the ruger, and until I master accuracy on it, I won't give up on it.

Don't like shooting my lightweight pocket 38's.
Don't mind my Ruger LC9 pro S.
Shoot all three once a month.
I went to the 90 grain 38's for my revolver's..
My Ruger I shoot anything in 9mm..
Once in a while I will carry my HK P2000 Lem Lite in 357 Sig. I love shooting that one. Also my Glock G19 ....
