Two 49s and a 649 here.... blue, nickel, and stainless. Couple 640s, too.

Looking at the poll results, there are a few surprises.

One was the relative unpopularity of the 638.

One would expect it to be up there with the 642 -- but clearly it's not. Perhaps the lack of a no lock version hurts sales.

Also the 380 auto body guard is more successful than I expected. I guess that's due to being s&w's only product in the popular 380 auto caliber.

The new 38 bodyguard appears to be a dud on the market.

I'd like to find an old m38 to go with my m49 at some point.

I'll add the M649 I acquired recently to this old thread.

It's the long awaited partner to my M49 that started the thread.

Pretty much the same except SS vs blue, but it seems to have a slightly nicer trigger.

Don't know why.
