Just read and article in Freedom magazine (NRA) pointing out that some activist doctors may begin asking if you have guns at home when you go in for a medical visit.
This bit of info goes into the electronic data base that doctors now send all your info to.
In my opinion, it's in no way any of their business. I think that rather that answer "yes" or not answer the question, the answer should be, without hesitation, "no , I do Not".
I would guess that all on this forum would feel the same.

I would say no,as far as I know it's not against the Law to lie to the Doctor.

Easy solution, JUST SAY NO.......I know doctors in my area in NY
are required to turn you in if you are proscribed sleeping aides ,pain meds or anxiety drugs.....If you have a pistol permit in NY and are prescribed these meds. You may lose your permit, But your allowed to be an alcoholic....

Before I gave my answer .....the first thing I'd do is ask the doc if he has guns in HIS house.

......I'd pose the same question to the receptionist, the nurses and anyone else in the office.

Stupid question in return...So Doc have you stopped drinking? Do you use your gun when you drink. Kiss my big toe.

Does a bear...well, never mind, you get the idea. Don't you?
