I like the idea of being able to shoot from inside a coat pocket, but now with hand issues carry the airwt with a hammer more.

I dunno... The OP clarified pretty well. Hammer less is just slang for internal hammers.

Techincally not a hammerless J frame, but a concealed hammer which is just a bit more practical to me. I carry this one about everywhere now, and it has accounted for one woodchuck and a red squirrel that was hiding in my old shed (cleanly dispatched with #12 shot).

be careful with that stuff. I got peppered all over my belly from it richochetting of a soggy plywood backstop. it didn't break the skin and I didn't even notice til later. from inside a metal tool shed could really smart.
