Trick poll. There is no such thing as a striker fired J frame. Every J frame that I have ever shot has a hammer-some shrouded lile the 638, some hidden like the 640 and some exposed like the model 60.
So what'd I win :D

Yep. Got a 642 that is permanently holstered in my leather bomber jacket pocket. It's what I carry when I wear that jacket.

Here's the hammerless that my grandfather carried for about 40 years.

Techincally not a hammerless J frame, but a concealed hammer which is just a bit more practical to me. I carry this one about everywhere now, and it has accounted for one woodchuck and a red squirrel that was hiding in my old shed (cleanly dispatched with #12 shot).

RAT SHOT

be careful with that stuff. I got peppered all over my belly from it richochetting of a soggy plywood backstop. it didn't break the skin and I didn't even notice til later. from inside a metal tool shed could really smart.

a 442 and a nickle Centennial with grip safety. The Centennial is sort of a BBQ gun, but I beat the tar out of the 442.
