do you resemble your username?

I really don't remember what my original server name was. However a hurricane a few years ago took out our electric power for about three weeks. Once power was restored I began to sign back in on my web sites. For some reason I could not get signed back on this website. I sent a series of emails to the moderators in an attempt to get signed back on. I finally received an email from one of the moderators that I was now back on. My user name was Tom Kent, which is my actual name. It is also part of my email address. After what I had just gone through I decided to keep it and not argue anymore. So yes, I look and act like my user name.

When I first started posting on internet forums I had a Kawasaki Z1000, so I selected the name "ZGrand". Although a Chevy Astro van totalled it for me in 2004, since I was universally famous on the interwebs, I just maintained the name. Hopefully I don't resemble the bike.

I have spent most my life living and working far from 4 lane roads. Living so remote all my vehicles were armed 24/7. What is more often tucked away is a Winchester 94 in 30WCF. Since I work and play far from asphalt I had one thrown in the backseat, in the bottom of a boat, tied to either a 4-wheeler or snowmobile. They are short, light easy to carry and powerful enough for most situations. Now that I am older and less active and my eye sight is fading I have unfortunately had to put aside my 94's and have as an adventure rifle, an older Ruger International in 308 Win. I use this because I have a Leupold 4 x compact sitting atop it. Just a half an inch longer than a 94 carbine and not quite as comfortable to carry, I can still pop off the scope and go with irons if and when the days return when I carry way more than I shoot.

A while back I was in the hospital. I think they got my prescriptions
mixed up because I had hallucinations the day I was supposed to be
discharged. Someone on here posted that I was just living up to my
name.

Maybe I should tell how I got the name crazyphil. Way back
over twenty years ago now, I retired at 65 and gave all my
long guns away. When I told my wife, she said "you did what,
are you crazy?" Since my name is Phil, crazyphil just kind
of fits.

U should replace it with a ZRX. Reminds me of 2 GPZs I grew up riding

I'm pretty sure I do...at least for what I've been doing for the past 30+ years, although my pack string is a little smaller now. I dunno...if I ever get to the point where I can't throw a diamond hitch or swing up into a saddle, I suppose I'll have to change my username...or if I quit packing my sons and grandsons into their elk camp. Then I guess I'll just be sitting around all day, eating chocolate ice cream and bon bons and watching "Oprah." Maybe then I'll change it into something like "Couch Potato.":D

Mule Packer, I sure love seeing your pics of you out in the back country. Sometimes I wonder what a week out on the trail in Utah might be like. Sure looks peaceful. If you pack in coffee and smoked bacon I am not sure I would leave. lol

Nope. I’m a pretty skinny dude. Huskies are my college mascot.

I hope not.
SS336 was commissioned in January 45, about a year and a half before I was born.
I qualified in submarines on her and took her last westpac in 1965. Good time and great memories was sold to Argentina after that cruise and scrapped by now.
I on the other hand am still going strong……..kind of. 😂

I may be speaking out of turn here but Fred (old bear) spent a week out there with Chip and Miss Judy and said it was one of the most tranquil and serene settings he had been to. He has described it to me several times and it sure makes a feller want to go.
