Do you still have your first handgun, do you still have it?

I never cared much for handguns, being mostly interested in rifles. But eventually I decided I needed a pistol, so I chose a S&W 1006. I still nave it, and it is still my favorite.
Wasn't my first, but that was my 3rd handgun back in 1993. I still have it too. $530 out the door. Big bucks back then.

My first was a Smith 915 auto.
I traded it and $150 for a Browning HP Practical. Good trade.
15 yrs later I bought a used (and slightly rough looking) 915 for $225.
One of the few gun deals I feel I ever came out on top of!
I still think the 915 is a highly underrated pistol.

Mine was in 1976 a 19-3 4" bbl target grips and hammer. $135.00 out the door. Still have it and dont have any intention of letting it go...Its currently in my hand me down list for my son son.

First was a Colt Cobra for off-duty, $85 in 1968, and I still have it.

I got a Ruger Blackhawk in 45 ACP with a 45 colt cylinder back in 1979, I didn’t fire any 45 colt until 2008, not much ACP has gone through the pipe since then. Man I love shooting it.

I still have my first handgun. Fifty years ago I bought this, well used and abuse, S&W Model 53 from a co-worker for $75. IT was money well spent.

First handgun was a Sig 220 45 acp that I bought in the early 90's. Sold it just a few years ago since I had less than 400 rounds fired through it. Great pistol, but I shoot my P228, G19 and 6906 more often. Figured let someone else enjoy it.

yup, my Smith 439, as well as my dad's first rifle and pistol JC Higgins/HS 9 shot 22 revolver, and Wards Western Field/ Mossberg 46B (ish)

yep, 1979 Taurus 3" .38 for $100. Primed w/148 Gr wadcutters, been my wife's nightstand go to for decades.

Wow. Great question! I had to think for a while about this, but I can't remember. I'm surprised, but I just cannot remember.

My first is a 1974 vintage High Power. I was a late bloomer. Thirty-eight years old when I acquired it.
