I do not have my first handgun .
I gave the first good hand gun to
my oldest daughter. Had a few before it
but they were low price junk.
I do have my first S&W a model 17 that
at today’s prices has fired way over a
million dollars worth of ammo.

My first S&W is a Model 18-2 bought new in 1965 for $67. I still have it and shoot it frequently. I did briefly have 2 other handguns before the Model 18-2 that were traded off - an Iver-Johnson .22 revolver and a Colt .357 Magnum revolver.
