Does anyone else have a M65?

Armorer School M65

Attended S&W Armorer School in 1986 and we were allowed to purchase one of the revolvers we built..as luck would have it we assembled M65's with a 4 inch barrel..bought it for $170..was with a Federal agency at the time but later went to a Police Academy and took it along to use as a duty weapon..came in second overall in shooting competition as I blew the last shot of night fire after I lost my night vision..still have it of course and it will be the one they pry out of my cold dead hands should that need ever arise..

I own it's blued brother......

i have a 3 inch 13 and a 65 LS.
i love the underlug of the LS. if i can find another one ( i know a guy who i might be able to pry one from) i want to bob the hammer and DAO smooth out the action and hi polish the LS engraving off and put on stag grips and a T- grip.

I have a 3" LS and it is a beauty. For belt carry it's a winner, but I often pocket carry, so it doesn't get carried much.

I really wouldn't know. They came standard with the LadySmith. You might find a pair of used ones.

LOL, I was thinking last night about posting another thread about how much I love my M65. I opened up this forum and saw this thread and said hey I love my M65....who started this thread? Glad to see I am not alone!
