As the title says, I'm curious as to what the ballistics are on this .38 special loading? It's a 130 grain FMJ .38 special made by Remington and is headstamped as being from 1965. Thanks!

This is also known as the M41 loading - 130gr. FMJ @ about 750 fps. Pretty wimpy, but excellent source of low-stressed, reloadable brass.
Hope this helps.

That was issue .38 Spl ammo, used by all the U.S. services (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, possibly Coast Guard - don't know if the Coasties ever had .38 Spl revolvers). FMJ round nose, about 750 fps IIRC, not very stout, but it could be obtained through supply. I don't believe it is still issued, but it certainly was up through the late 1970s and/or early 1980s.

Thanks all! That is exactly the information that I was looking for :D
