Does S&W plan to drop the internal lock in the future?

Oh no, but we all love the lock. . .don't take it away! It gives you a nice little place to store things in the side of the gun.

Doing away with the lock would be no longer manufacturing a safety feature. The media would practically crucify S&W. Like many things in this country we can't go back to 1977 America.
