Does the dcaek trigger kit remove the "break" in the trigger?

A guy posted after the DCAEK kit was installed that he "can't feel the break point now".

I was wondering of this is true? I actually like feeling the trigger stop at the "firing" point.
Does the kit remove that aspect?

The question is hard to figure what you are really wanting to know. Break point is when the gun fires, so unless the kit was installed wrong, there should be a break point. Now if you are referring to over travel, the distance the trigger travels rearward, after the break point, it is reduced with the Apex kit. Stock OT is about 1/8 inch. The Apex kit reduces OT to about 1/16 inch.

The "break point" where the take up ends is definitely still there. Just lighter than factory. I much prefer my trigger after installing DCAEK than before

Yes. I meant when it fires. I like the idea if a "stop" or "hitch" right before the gun fires. So I know if I apply any more pressure the gun will fire.
I don't like the guessing game of some guns triggers.

Thank you for the input guys.
I may invest in a kit for my 09 9mm and then compare it to my 2013.
But I've already polished all the parts except in the slide (USB and striker)

The reset click is more faint with Apex parts than factory parts, but the "break" you refer to is actually more noticeable with the Apex hard sear.

If that "hitch" means that much to you, I hope you're not making the shoot/no shoot decision as you're pressing the trigger...
