My daughter and son in law were visiting from Anchorage the last two weeks.
We went to gun range and she was using my 632 with 4 inch barrel. Afterwards she said to make sure I put that she inherits it when I pass away.
She did not want to take it because every time she visits it will be shot at range by her.

My reply was simple, "I will keep this one but you can take it's twin"!! I purchased a lockable gun case, pad locks, and put 100 rounds it box and two speed loaders. I also gave her a holster so she could carry a gun while out exploring the splendors of Alaska!

My wife said afterwards, "how many twins do you have, I just said don't ask, don't tell".
I have twin 631 in 2 inch barrels, two 1917's and a bucket load of 632's.

I was gifted a 631 a few years ago by my "forum buddy" over on the Marlin Owners forum. It was a very unexpected surprise, and I learned it was bought new by his brother, who left it to him. He has since passed on as well, and this 631 is a cherished part of my limited accumulation of S&W firearms.

Your daughter has good tastes in revolvers Peyton! The 631 4" is a very accurate revolver and a lot of fun to shoot. Hopefully one day I will find a 2" to go with it!

As a lifelong bachelor, I am childless, however my youngest brother has two daughters, now grown with families of their own. The younger of the two has a special place in my heart gun-wise, so as she reached age 21 she got a slicked up Mod 30-1 I got from the estate of a gunsmith buddy of mine. As we get the opportunity we get out and shoot it and other guns she likes, and although she doesn’t fully appreciate it yet she’s about to inherit her grandfather’s Model 39-2 and a Marlin Model 90 OU 16 ga shotgun. While her sister gets a few guns as well, she already has a head start on her little sis. The Lord has put it on my heart to look out for “my” girls.

I have 5 grand children and they all have 32 h&r revolvers and marlin 32 h&r rifles setting ready for them.
I have tried to corner the market with the assistance of all of my fellow 32 fanatics on this forum!!
