I was out shopping for guns today, when, luckily I remembered tomorrow is my wife's birthday. I quickly called and asked her what kind of a gift would she like?

She said: "Oh, how thoughtful of you to remember.
Just get me something with diamonds in it."

So,............ "I bought her a deck of cards."

P.S. I won't be going to the range for a while............both eyes are swollen shut.

Once I stumbled across a Nickle M-19 at my favorite LGS. They had it marked $375. But since they like me so well they let me have it for $375.

I had been trying to buy my FIL's no dash 66 in 4". He doesn't use it, never shot it and never will. I'd been telling him I wanted it for my wife when she would go visit him and our kids.

I had just bought a couple of handguns and the wife asked me to back off for a while. She asked nicely like in the Dr's office I turned my head and coughed until the pain went away.

I come strolling in the door and my wife said what's in the bag. Trapped like a rat I was. I told her since her Dad was never going to sell us his gun for $500 I bought her one just like it for 375 for her birthday. She only partially bought it. You know that wife stare thing, they can turn their head all the way around and you can still see the eyes??? My wife has never carried it, never shot it and never will.
