Didn't I warn you?

A quick delicious snack.:)

Thomas' Sandwich Size English muffins, but made on a cast iron smooth breakfast skillet.

That liquid happens to be butter, I know, I am going to die.;)

Got to love them. I put them suckers in the toaster and toast them till they crunch, then put about the same amount of butter you got there on them but I don't stop there. Then I put some of Moms home made apple butter on too. :D Now I am hungry, taking a break to get the toaster out. :)

They also smell great while being toasted, I gonna make me a couple in a few minutes also and a nice hot cup of coffee.:D

Now I have to decide whether to go get a snack or hug my honey....

Oddly enough 2 weeks ago I was tired of Italian bread toasted on one side on my round flat cast iron cooker to go with eggs and bacon made with the same pan. I bought some english muffins and did the same, tasty they are. And yes I use real butter.

I bought some lard and have been dropping in a spoonful before I cook on the cast iron.

My annual physical results came in last month, middle of the range on all tests. Before lard a couple were a little high a year ago. I guess lard is too slippery for new modern testing. :)

Well done sir, but we're gonna need verification that those muffins where split with a fork and not erroneously opened with a knife.

Lady Koz usually brings home cinnamon raisin or cranberry Thomas'. I really only like plain ones. The magic happens when you slather copious amounts of butter on the crunchy, still warm halves.

If I want to take it to the next level, I throw a slab of nice sharp cheddar in it.;)

A worthy snack indeed Mr. worm!:)

I cut them in half with a bread knife if making them on my skillet.

In a toaster, split by hand, for the little nooks and crannies.:)

Your only making me more hungry.
