I have 2 Lemon Squeezer .32 cal's--SN:181621 and SN:219935.
Any dating help appreciated.

Both are .32 Safety Hammerless 3rd Model, made between 1909-1937 according to my Standard Catalog.

The earlier SN is likely from early in the 1910 decade. The later one may have been from the mid-late 1920s onward; they were not super fast sellers by that time with the Hand Ejectors being made, so its production date (which S & W never tracked) and its ship or sales date may have been months, or even years, apart.

The correlation between ship date and serial numbers for this model are pretty much in order, so estimating ship dates is possible. 219935 was shipped in an era where numbers sold were very low. It took 5 years to sell 10,000 between 210XXX and 220XXX , but still in order in the database, all from 1916 to 1921. 181,621 would most likely have shipped around 1911, indicating that sales between 1911 and 1916 totaled near 30,000.
