When I first try to pull the trigger I feel a slight bind when pulling double action. It goes way after the first pull. If I cock the hammer single action there is no bind. If the cylinder is open and I pull back on the trigger it still binds(cylinder latch is pulled back) on the first try. I took the side plate off and slightly lubricated the springs, but it did not solve the problem. The funny thing is that it only happens on the first try of pulling the trigger. Any ideas as to what would cuase this. Thanks

Put a drop of oil up front on the cylinder stop, sometimes this can cause a slight bind when the trigger first starts moving. Another thing to do is shoot the snot out of the gun and then look for rubs in the frame recess, on the sideplate, and on corresponding parts.

The best advise that I can think of is to remove the side plate, dis-assemble, clean the entire gun and all internal parts, re-assemble (leave off side plate) and look to see what is binding. Shinny spots and rub marks are what you should be looking for.
Other than that, help is hard to give without seeing exactly what is happening. It could be something as simple as hardened oil or grease, a bent or misaligned part, but if you are not comfortable & familiar with taking the gun apart and putting it back together, a trip to the Factory or a qualified GS might be in order.
