This Lincoln 12 was purchased new in 1935 by Doug Wesson (President of S&W at the time). The second owner purchased the car from Dan Wesson in the late 60s or early 70s. It was picked up from a warehouse behind the Roosevelt Ave Factory. This warehouse housed Wesson Family property. It was delivered to the second owner by Dan Wesson himself.

A Lincoln v12 with ALL original interior. 76000 miles. It is now in the hands of a collectible car dealer and available for sale.

My dad's older brother had a 1937 Lincoln Zephyr V-12. Just after WWII dad lived with him. Dad would take the car street racing and never complained about the mileage (his brother owned a fuel distributorship), but he did complain about second gear stripping out a repeatedly. My uncle made him replace it every time he did it! Huntington California was pretty exciting for a 15 year old boy in 1947!

Ah! But the Zephyr had the new generation V12 at 267 cu the 1935 V12 was 385 cu.

A little trivia; Does your dog mascot have testicles? Seriously, when they first used the grey hound it had testicles molded in, but Mrs. Ford was so appalled by the crudeness Mr. Ford had them deleted on later produced hounds.

Kind of doubt that story. I understand the Lincoln greyhounds were definitely male since 1925 to 1939.

Besides that Lincolns were Edsel's babies not Henry's.

Edit. The proof. Bellow, was supposed to be just one off for Edsel. But things got out of hand.

Absolutely true, some have balls while others don't, the ones with nuts are more valuable.

Cars had class in those days. Any guesses as to what the sale price is / will be when it sells?

I don't have anything to do with the sale of this car, but my understanding is that the price is in the low 30k range. If anyone is serious about purchasing this they can PM me for the dealer info.

I'm kicking around the idea of buying a new Jag for my next car. Now I'm debating a custom, anatomically correct hood ornament.
