Who wins in an accuracy contest between these two awesome (and now defunct) custom shops?

Thinking of doing an unscientific test for fun to find out. Was looking for opinions. Please don’t take it too seriously. I know there are many factors to take into consideration, but this would just be a fun range exercise from a bench rest on one given day.

Well, I can attest to the old Sig German MasterShop pistols. They shoot lights out.
The action & trigger pulls are just wonderful.
Absolutely no creep in the ones that I owned.
Btw, if these are all yours, please consider adding little ole me to your will .....

All I can say is that I would volunteer to help with the test. Let me know when you plan to start this comparison and I will happily shoot your magnificent collection with you. I'll go so far as to bring a case of 9mm with me.

Well obviously, I missed this when it was posted.

Is this showdown still in the planning stage or was it executed and detailed elsewhere?

The absolute center of my firearms love are the S&W Performance Center Limited pistols. At the same time, I have never been attracted to Sig guns, especially the P220/P226 series, just never cared for them. I do have a P210-A (and I realize they are not at the level of the previous classic 210's) and I like my 210-A a lot but I still find no love for the brand.

With that said, I would think it's a very good matchup and would come out with no clear winner. However, if you really shook them all out, I suspect the 845 or 945 would have the best chances of ultimate victory, if I were picking a winner.

While I love my S&Ws (admittedly only revolvers; no semi-autos), I would not bet against SIG.

Last July in Maine, I witnessed the skill of a former marksman for SIG with his 9 mm, model I do not recall. On the 200 yard gong, he was dynamite, a tribute to him, but also to the hardware.

As implied in the first post, a shoot out would be great, but would need enough of a broad sample of each manufacturer’s hardware, that it be valid. Even so, could be that partisans would have a long discussion, shall we say.

All my Sigs are scary accurate (I hit bowling pins 3 straight at 30 yards with my P238), but so is my PC 1911.
