Dreams Take 2

A long time ago it was said that, The young men would have visions, and the Old Men would Dream Dreams. I have been young and now I'm not, but I still like those visions of loveliness that walk by on their way to the pool!

I don't know about the re-runs, but I'm pretty sure that I can't live up to the new ones!

It's been a long time since I thought I was such a bad-*** superman. Pretty darned entertaining, though.

I keep having these bad dreams that I still work for my former employer.

This morning I woke up dreaming I not only still worked there, but I was back in Seattle, AND it was our busiest season. To make it worse in my dream I had accidentally walked into the building with my EDC in my pocket (guns were forbidden in the facility) and I was panicing trying to figure out how I was going to get it through the metal detector and out of the building without getting caught with it and fired.

I was really glad when I woke up and realized it was just a bad dream.

I can hardly ever remember my dreams in detail, they just fade away minutes after I awake, leaving only hazy traces or bits and pieces behind, but then I remember them all as soon as I lay down and start drifting off to sleep again the following night.

My dreams are strange, as they seem to exist in their own continuity, in their own realm with a unique backstory, and in them time doesn't exist and everything is literally happening all at once with no past, present, or future, meaning stuff that I dreamt of years ago is still going on as if the moment never ended or progressed. Strange, yet when I'm dreaming it all feels perfectly normal, I don't question it or think anything of it.
Humorously, while most folks associate memories of dreams with hazy vision and distorted color, I can actually see more clearly in dreams than I can when I'm awake.
