This has been on my TV literally for years since it's 50 miles from me. This guy is guilty I'm sure. The Will county States Attorney used some real dirty tricks at trial to cover his incompetence. That's not to mention the original botched investigation of the murder and murder scene. They actually created a new law allowing the introduction of "hear say" evidence. That law will be struck down. The only evidence against him was hear say. Drew will appeal and possibly prevail because the whole trial was a travesty. The jury was only out a total of about 13 hrs.. I'm thinking they convicted him because their lives would be misery if they didn't.

This garbage wore a badge which is an embarrassment to me & all my fellow LEO'S who have served honorably, and to those still serving. Too bad "Ol' Sparky" wasn't still in operation.

He's convicted. Now... expedite his sentencing and execution. Then... if some scholars want to complain about the trial, etc., let them. This is one time when justice should mean that the little lady takes off the blindfold, takes the sword and swings away!

Thank you everyone who has and will contribute to the thread. Yes, sadly a LOT of emotion here, but PLEASE remember no negative comments about Law Enforcement aspect of this case. That will get it shut down. Thank you all again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You are SOL as there is no death penalty in Illinois.

i also think he did it but i also think on appeal he will walk, for the reasons noted in the above post. i'm sort of amazed he is still above ground after all this.
